MARGARET PETERS (nee COWEN) On Tuesday, October 18, 2005, Margaret Peters, aged 92 years, passed away at Parkview Place. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Jack in 1987; grandson Norm in 2001. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Sharon Traill of British Columbia, grandsons, Michael, Neil, great-granddaughter Faith-Anne; son William Peters of Calgary, grandson William; daughter Carol Bogdan of Winnipeg, grandson Jeff. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Margaret was employed as a nanny for 14 years prior to her marriage in 1942. She then devoted her life to Jack and upon arrival of her children; she was a loving and caring mother and grandmother for which we will be forever grateful. Margaret will be remembered for her gardening skills, culinary ability, love of reading and animals and great sense of humour. Special thanks to the staff at Parkview Place for their many years of care. A private family service will be held at a later date.
